We did a full, three-story gut renovation of an early 1900's Georgian revival home with Martha... and if I had a dollar for every time we thanked the construction gods for having her at the helm, I think we probably could have paid for the entire thing.
We were initially drawn to her vision as an architect and her reputation/competence, but throughout the 18 month process we totally fell in love with her as a person. She is responsive, invested in making sure her clients are happy, and is very down to earth despite doing largely high-end/luxury projects. This was our first home and I know she recognized that we had a modest budget in comparison to her other clients, but she still worked with us to make it everything we could have ever wanted.
